If you’re like most people, your list may have the usual items such as hitting the gym more often, saving money, or even putting a bad habit to an end. However, if you’re thinking of doing something different this 2021, something that would make the world a better place, think of giving back to those less fortunate across the United States.

The main reason is the most obvious – you’ll be helping people who need it. It doesn’t matter how rusty or loud your old vehicle is. If it’s even barely usable, the charity you give it to will make good use of it. Giving Center will do some maintenance, and pass it onto those people who need it most. Others will use the vehicle themselves; delivering meals to the elderly, or taking disabled people to doctors. At the very least, it’ll end up being sold and the proceeds will be given to a good cause.

While the government is working hard to help ease the turmoil caused by the pandemic, its limited resources make it difficult to make its programs available to everyone in need. Without the help of nonprofit organizations, people would have no where else to turn to.

Giving Center has seen thousands of applications requesting assistance with a vehicle, and try as we might, we don’t have enough for everyone. We are only able to donate what we receive in, so these people often wait months before a call back. But with your help we can change that!

As you list down your New Year’s resolutions, you may think of cleaning up and letting go of some of the things you no longer need – including a vehicle you haven’t used for a long time. Giving Center makes it easy for you to get rid of an unwanted car and at the same time help others in need.
Cars are expensive to buy and keep, no matter what you do. Your natural inclination might be to sell your old car, and get the most money possible out of it. However, this will usually mean a lot of hassle, especially if your car’s in a terrible condition.
